Microblading
Microblading has become one of the most popular brow treatments available. It is a manual skill of semi-permanent eyebrow drawing which uses a hand held tool instead of a machine. The tool allows the hand to move more freely so that feathery strokes can be drawn in the direction of the natural hair growth to achieve a hyper-realistic look.
Here are some of the reasons why choosing a Phibrows Artist can greatly benefit you:
Training: Phibrows artists produce superior work thanks to being taught a specific method that requires artists to pass 11 levels of mastery to ensure that their methods and their work maintain the very high Phibrows standard.
Tools: The modern microblading tools were invented by the founder of Phibrows, Branko Babic. They have been developed from the highest quality stainless steel and go through rigorous testing to make them safe and precise to use.
Products: Phibrows constantly test and re-evaluate their products, their pigments are setting new standards in the industry. You will benefit from faster healing times, better retention and gradual fading that doesn’t change colour as they do not contain heavy metals found in many other permanent makeup pigments. They are also certified vegan and cruelty free.
Eyebrow Mapping: Phibrows have clever tools to determine the ideal eyebrow shape for you, based on your unique bone structure and the proportions of your face. Perfection in the shape is an essential part of Phibrows microblading. The majority of the appointment time is dedicated to this phase of the treatment, taking into account your wishes and specific requests when planning your new brows.

More about Microblading
Microblading gives the most natural look to the brow for those who are seeking a subtle brow shape. When a client has very few natural hairs this manual technique is combined with the machine in order to create shading between the hair strokes to give more fullness to the overall brow. This is known as a combination brow.
The colour is chosen to match the natural hair or eyebrow colour. Immediately after treatment the colour may look very dark but this will lose 40% to 50% of its intensity once the skin has healed within 5-7 days. After healing, the colour may become several hues lighter.
Symmetry is achieved using precise measuring techniques including the use of an iPad app to check the symmetry of several key points of the brows. It is calculated while the clients’ eyes are closed because in that way muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry are relaxed.
The healing is fully completed after 28 days this is when we perform an obligatory top up of the pigment that has been lost. Problematic and oily skins may require several top ups.
On average, expected time until a new colour refreshment is between 10 and 12 months. With oily skin it is up to 6 months. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts. Sweating and sun exposure also reduce colour duration.
Post-treatment care accounts for 70% of the treatment’s success. Conscientiously follow advice, because if you don’t you may lose up to 80% of drawn strokes. Wiping the brows with an aftercare wipe and re-applying the healing balm is of great importance.
Pain during the treatment is relative. Nervous clients and clients who have their period usually feel stronger pain, while other clients compare the pain to the one they feel when plucking eyebrows. Mild anaesthetics are used during the treatment that can entirely eliminate the pain.
The success of the treatment depends on the:
