Microcurrent delivers tiny electrical impulses that re-educate the muscles by stimulating the cell fibres that run the length of the muscle. In most cases just a slight tingling sensation is experienced and due to its low intensity, it does not cause a physical or visual contraction of the muscle.

During treatment all 32 facial muscles are physically manipulated using soft cotton tipped probes and other attachments that transmit the microcurrent impulses.

Muscles are worked in two different ways :- one has a lengthening/relaxing effect that is necessary on muscles that have become contracted over years of facial expression like frown lines. The other has a shortening effect that is necessary for the majority of the muscles that have become slack over time due to age and gravity.
