Salon Terms and Conditions
So that you have a safe and pleasant experience at Body and Beauty Studio we have a number of house rules and standard policies which we ask you to be aware of prior to your visit, so here’s everything you need to know to prepare for your beauty experience with us.

House Rules
Arrival
During the Covid-19 pandemic please follow our COVID GUIDELINES. These can be found at the top of the home page - click on our Covid-19 Guidelines.
In order that you benefit fully from your relaxation time with us and as a courtesy to other clients, we ask that mobile phones be switched off in the salon.
Lateness
We regret that it may be necessary to treat appointments as cancelled if clients arrive more than 15 minutes late.
Bookings and Deposits
We recommend that you book your treatments in advance in order to receive your preferred date and time.
Long appointments, lasting over 2 hours require a deposit of 25% to be made at the time of booking.
Courses
Courses of treatments must be paid for at the first treatment and are non-transferable.
Non-attendance of any treatment during any course will result in the loss of that treatment and will be unavailable for rebooking.
Cancellation
Clients who wish to change or cancel an appointment are kindly requested to provide 48 hours notice. Deposits will be lost if not enough notice is given.
Cancellations or no-shows on the day will result in a 50% charge of the treatment missed.
Client Conduct
The therapist reserves the right to stop the treatment at any time if she/he feels that the client’s behaviour is inappropriate.
Children
We regret that children are not permitted to accompany and/or wait within the salon. Anyone under the age of 16 who is having a treatment in their own right is of course welcome. There are however some treatments which are not suitable for children under the age of 16. Please check with the reception team if you are under 16 (or booking on behalf of an under 16).
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
Body and Beauty Studio regret that we cannot take any responsibility for lost gift vouchers so please look after them as if they were cash. Please ensure that they are presented at the time of your treatment – regrettably we make no exceptions to this policy.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or products.
If you do not use the total value of the gift voucher we will mark down the current value on the existing voucher or give you a new voucher for the balance. We do not exchange the balance for cash.
Medical Information
Please inform our reception team of any current or previous medical conditions or allergies you may have or had that may be affected by any of the services on offer at the time of reservation. If you have any doubts, please consult your doctor for advice and we may request you provide their advice in writing if you have any of the following conditions :-
- Epilepsy
- Thrombosis
- Low/High Blood Pressure
- Diabetes
- Skin Disorders
- Asthma
- Hepatitis
Contraindications
We do not recommend waxing or facials directly before or after any form of heat treatment.
If you have any allergies, particularly to nuts, seafood or wheat, you may be asked to take a patch test prior to any skin treatments.
If you suffer from skin sensitivity, severe contact eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis we may ask you to take a patch test prior to any skin treatments.
A number of treatments require compulsory patch testing, particularly eye and brow treatments. To avoid disappointment please allow 48 hours between your patch test and appointment.
Pregnancy
We regret cannot accept anyone within their first Trimester for any treatments. For treatments after 3 months, please make your pregnancy known to the reception team when booking your appointment.
Smoking
This is not permitted anywhere in or around the salon.
Our prices
Treatment descriptions and prices may be subject to revision without notice if we feel this is appropriate.
By booking with Body and Beauty Studio you are acknowledging and accepting these terms.
